With a background on economics and accounting, professional betting and a specialty for the smaller leagues that are not saturated and where the odds move at a slower pace, he is perfect for those that want to walk off the beaten path.

Thirteen years ago, I waved goodbye to my last “real” job, and since then, betting has been my bread and butter and I became Tipster Gavin W. I suppose that makes me a professional gambler! My background in economics and accounting gave me the number-crunching skills that are so crucial in the betting world.

My journey began with matched betting, evolved through arbitrage, and eventually settled on value betting. Along the way, I traded my desk job for a life of adventure, living in Colombia and visiting places like Honduras, Argentina, and Australia. Now, I\’m based in London—not as exotic, but home is where the heart is, right?

Thanks to gambling, I\’ve lived my dreams, traveling the globe, soaking in amazing sights, and making lifelong friends. I\’m the boss of my own life, and my office is wherever I decide—whether that\’s at home, mid-flight, or on a sunny beach.

I won\’t claim to be an expert on every sport, team, or player out there. But what I do have is a solid grasp of the math and stats behind betting, which lets me spot the real value. That knack has not only paid the bills but also turned me into a reliable tipster.

Until recently, I had two favorites: Sky Bet and Matchbook. Especially with the folks of the later, I built a strong bond. It\’s not only that the always work to get better, grow their reach and offer sharp odds. Mostly, it\’s because they listen to their customers. Another set of reasons (different than Matchbook) have driven my preferences towards Sky Bet. Top notch when it comes to odds, tight margins, generous limits, safety and security.

However, I still had to toggle between the two (a Sportsbook and an Exchange) to get what I wanted. And that issue was resolved when 4ODD became available to the industry. Now, I have all the perks I wanted and I no longer have to lose precious time looking around.

I offer tips across all sports, including some non-sporting events. My focus is mainly on populars like football, tennis, and US sports, thanks to their numerous matches and diverse betting markets. Value bets often lie in interconnected markets. For example, the half-time winner market is linked to the full-time result, correct scores, and handicaps. It\’s in these smaller, less scrutinized markets that you can spot some great opportunities.

While I consider all leagues, I tend to steer away from saturated major leagues like the English Premier League or La Liga, where odds are sharp and it\’s tough to find an edge. Instead, I look to smaller leagues where odds move slower and information is scarcer, giving savvy punters a chance to outsmart the bookies by analyzing stats and price trends.

Betting wisdom says: the better the odds, the bigger your bet should be. But remember, bad luck hits us all, so never bet the farm. My tips are all about value—some just have more of it. For the best results, follow all my advice, but put more money on the tips with the juiciest odds.
