Privacy Policy
Every site, regardless of the niche and the type of content, must constantly improve. It must make sure that it presents the best possible services to its clientele. To do this, we collect certain information about the visitor at various points of their browsing journey. This information concerns a user’s privacy which is quite important to us. Thus, we must inform you on what it is that we collect, and how we use it.
Defining the types of data collected
All pieces of information that we collect fall under 2 categories.
1) Personally Identifiable Information (P.I.I.)
We gather any and all data that can identify your identity, your location, your place of residence and other personal information through the form that you submit to us during your registration and any communication that you have with us. This info includes:
Your full name
Your physical address
Your telephone number
Your e-mail, or standard mail addresses
Your age
2) Tracking and measurement
The pages that you visit or the dates and times of your activities cannot identify you as a person. This is also true for any information about your browser, OS, and the manner through which you reached our site. However, they do provide us with a tracking system of your activities, your preferences and needs. This allows us to come up with the best solutions on optimizing our product.
Purpose and usage
The tracking and measurement pieces of information identify patterns, trends, habits and demographics on the usage of our site. Most importantly, they help us understand what our visitors need the most. A secondary purpose has to do with compatibility issues between our software, and the configuration of desktops and smartphones.
The data that can identify you personally has the purpose of facilitating any communication with clients. We use it while providing you with the unique login details to your account. We use it to communicate any changes concerning our services, or for the resolution of problems that may arise. However, the most important reason is to be able to confirm that you are of legal age to enter into a contract with a betting establishment.
Parties with access to your info
The first party that has access is the administration and the employees of 4ODD. We are treating it as absolutely confidential and we do not disclose it to others, unless one of the following circumstances are in effect:
1) We have been served with a valid official request or a warrant by a government, a regulatory body or a law enforcement agency.
2) It is included in our assets that will be transferred to a new owner if there has been an acquisition of our company by another.
The second party that can handle your personal data is you. You can view the statistical information about your activity, the money you have invested and general information on when you placed your wagers and what was the outcome, at the settings menu. If you wish to have anything changed or delete, you will need to send us a message requesting it. We will process it and respond to you the soonest possible.
Storage and security
All of your data are under a strict lock and key so to speak. Access through the internet is protected by the latest prerequisites of SSL protocols. Physical storage is in our premises where only people who work for 4ODD have the ability to process the information as needed. The equipment itself carries every means of protection in existence.
We do not keep records for ever. In fact, they are purged from our system after a reasonable period of time. Since a major part of them is comprised of account details that can identify you as a person, upon closure of an account we de-activate them until complete deletion. The parts of the information that we collect and do not identify you remain in use for our general statistics department.
You should also be aware that your information may be transferred to facilities that lay outside the European Economic Area. Consequently, the place of residence for the people that process the data is also outside the EEA. By choosing to register for an account with us, you accept the process. The treatment of your information confidentially and securely is an action that we take regardless of the location that we store them.
In reference to cookies
For the purposes of a tracking system that can let us know about your needs during your visits to our site and of credible measurements for the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns, we store a small text file on your computer called a «cookie». The only thing that this file contains is a coded ID. It does not have the capability of running software or transmitting any data anywhere but our servers which are the only ones capable of processing the information.
Under no circumstances do we use them as a means of monitoring your activities or do we disclose them to third parties, not even to our advertisers. If you still have doubts, you can refuse the reception by configuring your browser, however, we must advise you that such action may result in parts of our site becoming unavailable to you or with limited accessibility.
